The grape variety Garnacha Tintorera (also called Alicante Bouschet) is a cross between Petit Bouschet (itself a cross of the very old variety Teinturier du Cher & Aramon) and Grenache. It is one of the few grapes with red flesh. It is an exceptionally resistant grape against diseases. From the hand-selected grapes of vines older than 40 years, they make their best wines. The Syrah variety is very well adapted to the local environment and completes and complements the red and rosé wines. Finally, a pleasant surprise was the discovery that the Verdejo grapes are well adapted to the local soil and, thanks to the high altitude of the vineyards (more than 900 meters), they prepare fresh and fruity white wines with a very strong tropical palette.
