This Syrah is dark purple in color.The wine has aromas of black plums, ripe cherries and creme cassis, with mint and tobacco in the background.It is a medium to full body wine and has a pleasant and long aftertaste.The wine was fermented in stainless steel vats for 7 days, followed by malolactic fermentation and matured in stainless steel vats for 6 months to maintain the fruity taste of the wine.
The growing season prior to harvest started with a rainy winter.Flowering started with moist soil and good growing conditions.Spring started earlier than usual, leading to early maturity in most plots.The beginning of spring was marked by a strong growth of the vines, which put pressure on the winegrowers to harvest their tasks on time.The weather was moderate throughout the season with no extreme events.The vintage shows signs of very high quality.
