Giol Pinot Grigio Sena Solfiti (without added sulphite) is light straw yellow in color. In the fragrance it has elegant and delicate aromas characterized by notes of peach and apricot and sun-dried hay. The fresh, balanced, well-coherent taste on the palate closely matches the aroma of the wine. A wine that goes well with vegetarian dishes, soups, grilled fish, salad with Parma ham and melon and vegetable quiche. Serving temperature: 10-12 ° C.
During fermentation, the yeasts produce sulfites, albeit in much smaller quantities than those added by the oenologist. So even if no additional sulfites are added (by the oenologist), the wine will still contain traces of it. The skill lies in creating conditions, hygiene of the grapes and the cellars of the winery, vinification times and temperatures, selection of low sulphite yeasts and so on, which lead to the lowest possible formation of sulphite.
It may not taste like a typical Pinot Grigio if you don't add sulphite, but this wine is very well made. New flavor type, definitely try!
