This Gelber Muskateller is a very fruity, fresh, not too dry summer wine with its own character. It has the typical, intense muscat aroma and is great for lovers of exceptional wine. In the nose it has scents of pineapple, pepper and ginger. Finely structured with a fresh, spicy taste with a touch of lightness and elegance. The fine acidity determines the character of this wine. It is ideal in combination with vegetarian and Mediterranean dishes.
The Gelber Muskateller is one of the very special grape varieties in Germany. The requirements for the location are high. A lot of work is needed on the winemaker's side to be able to harvest optimal grapes every year. The vineyards of this wine are located in the sheltered side valleys of the Kloppberg. There you will find calcareous marl soils. Due to the height of the vineyards, the grapes enjoy great day-to-night fluctuations during the ripening of the grapes in October. This leads to particularly delicate, versatile aroma nuances.
