Core Bianco is a blend of Greco and Fiano. It combines the elegance of Fiano with the structure of Greco. The scent is very fresh, with intense notes of white fruit and flowers. Tasting reveals the fruit, particularly peach, pear and a rosemary background. It is rich in minerality and it is both fresh and complex on the palate. A fresh and at the same time full-bodied wine, with typical mineral hints of the region in the aftertaste. After alcoholic fermentation, the grape varieties Greco and Fiano are combined to form the final blend and remain ripened 'sur lie' for 7 to 8 months.
In the words of owner Silvia Imparato: “Core Bianco is the logical consequence of Core Rosso. Aglianico for the latter and two other local grapes for the Bianco, with the same level of quality guaranteed by the same oenologist, Riccardo Cotarella. Core means heart in our dialect, while in English it is the center or essence. Core is the name I gave our Aglianico, which to me represents the archetype of all wines, the one my grandparents let me taste as a child. With Core Bianco we wanted to complete the representation of our territory and its beautiful grapes: Campania. "
