Product description
Barolo Bricco Ambrogio is amaranth red with ruby red reflections.It shows a concentrated complexity, which spreads ripe raspberries, woody aromas, bitter orange peel and black peppercorns in the nose.In the mouth it is warm, powerful but able to touch all important points in the mouth, sensitive to its thick tannin structure. The acidity is well matched to the alcohol content, driving the flavor with a certain character;this wine reaches high notes.A long minerality confirms its olfactory complexity in the mouth.
Fermentation with the skins for 25/30 days in soot-free steel vats with a controlled temperature between 27/31 ° C. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation.Then the wine undergoes a maturation in French oak (225 L) for 24 months.
