Pratello Riesling has a golden yellow color and is sharply clear. The nose is a shot of exotic scents, clean and undamaged: mango, yellow melon and white elderberry, are the dominant aromas of this wine. Closes with a finish of jasmine flowers, with a hint of freshness and sweet mineral, which rises nicely to the nose. On the palate it is like a silk cloth, fresh, pleasant and honest. The wine engages with sensations of ripe grapes and Tunisian mango. There is a strong balance between sweet, salty, sour and bitter. It is a wine that goes well with meat and fish dishes as well as 'smoked' dishes. Try it with risotto with smoked cheese and bacon, poultry with a creamy sauce but also a schnitzel, veal with tomato sauce and fillet with vegetables and more.
Riesling grapes come from the moraine hills near Lake Garda, where they enjoy ideal lighting and constant ventilation that ensures perfect ripeness. After the harvest, the grapes are destemmed and they undergo cold maceration for 48 hours. Then they are gently pressed and poured into stainless steel tanks where the fermentation begins which takes about 15 days. The wine is aged in stainless steel tanks for 4 months and then rests in the bottle for 6 months.
