Singla Muscat de Rivesaltes 2018

Muscat de Rivesaltes has aromas of tropical fruits such as lychee, pineapple, passion fruit and a fresh citrus note of grapefruit and white flowers. The balance between sweetness combined with its fresh acidity gives this wine a beautiful field of tension. It is elegant and has a long exotic finish complemented with honey.

The plots, in total 50 hectares, are housed in the middle of rocks, scrubland and pine forests and follow the natural physiognomy of the place: hills, steep slopes and plains. Laurent de Besombes Singla found the way to reveal the amazing potential of this terroir. True to the grapes that love the sun of Roussillon, he creates some authentic wines, fine, elegant, full of earth are produced.

Since he took back the family farm, Laurent de Besombes has isolated the best tenements, 50 hectares in total, which bear the name Domaine Singla. He replaced herbicides, fertilizers and other synthetic products with natural materials such as horsehair, comfrey, lime, sulfur, nettle, fennel ... He revitalized the fields and worked through the seasons. Ever since in the wastelands, hedges and surrounding scrubland, the ecosystem took back its rights. The Domaine has been certified in organic farming since 2006.
