Product description
This Grenache is bright purple in color. It is a special wine and has aromas of rich red fruit, in addition to notes of spice and earth. A delicate wine with a velvety texture, balanced acidity and a long finish. The wine goes well with a variety of dishes and provides a light and pleasant drinking experience. The wine underwent fermentation on skins at 26oC for 7 days, followed by full malolactic fermentation and aged in French oak barrels for approximately 12 months.
The winter leading up to the 2016 harvest started with a severe snowstorm that provided the vines with the coldest conditions.During the rest of the winter, there was little rainfall.In early May, a rain shower made up for the lack of rainfall, allowing the vine to be raised in moist soil.The rest of the season, the weather was moderate, even cooler than average, without extreme conditions.The fruit ripened evenly and the harvest was of very high quality.
